Primary school teacher on trial in Sudan

UKpopdems know this trial has nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with Sudan's hard regime. This is man's justice, not the justice of God. In our own Christian religion, Jesus preached love and compassion, yet in the past Britain handed down the most barbaric sentences for the smallest of religious transgressions; and today would lock up its own citizens without charge for months if it could get away with it. It is the men and women who use religion to suit their own ends that the world needs to guard against, not religion itself.
