Police pay

Police pay may be reasonable, but Brown's penny pinching on an established agreement is dishonourable and wrong. There is something more going on here than saving a few tenths of a percentage point on pay. It almost seems the government is deliberately setting out to destroy police morale in the same way as they are doing with Britain's armed forces. They've already messed up schools, created a bottomless pit of an NHS and allowed crime and immigration to run out of control. There's a horrible smell about this government. Someone needs to open a window.
