Children losing respect for their parents

Children have no respect for their parents, shouts a report! This should be no surprise to anyone; it is the ultimate aim of a bloated, centralised welfare state. Incredibly, Britain has now reached the position where the state has actually become the parents! Why complain about absent fathers? They have no role when the state is the father. Why look askance at feckless mothers? What role do they have when the state is the mother? To many children, parents are no more than older people they live with, ignore and don't understand. Or perhaps they see them as servants whose job is to fetch, carry and pick up after them. UKpopdems won't dismantle the best parts of the welfare state but we will support and back proper families and strong family relationships.
