Millions of people have understandably become disengaged from politics and the democratic process because of overbearing, central decision making in which the people have taken no part.

We will reverse this damage by giving individuals, groups and communities real power and a real voice so government has to listen.

UKpopdems will govern for the benefit of the millions of ordinary Britons rather than for the benefit of a few hundred politicians, their backers and senior Whitehall elite.

We know that the common sense views and needs of ordinary Britons counts far more than the self-centred interests of mainstream party politics.

In government, we'll deliver the economic, social, international and democratic benefits you've been asking for.

We'll wring £100 billion a year out of back-office government bureaucracy and waste and put it into front-line police, health, education, community services and transport.

And the policies you want on defence, security, immigration, environment, international aid and Europe.

We'll implement economic policies that bring innovative benefits for employers, employees, customers, taxpayers, pensioners and everyone who needs work.

And democratic policies to make sure you and your community always have more power than government. That's real democracy.

'Safe Pensions' – to give dignity in retirement and old age

'Sure Health' – to guarantee swift access to treatment and best care

'Right to Work' – real and valuable work for all Britons who need it 'Easy Visa' – a simple method of reducing and controlling immigration

I love Britain and all the British people, whoever they are and wherever they come from. That's why I and my party are concerned that democracy and rights for ordinary Britons are slowly being eroded while government is stealing more power for itself and its backers, and interfering more and more in our everyday lives. UKpopdems will reverse all this by implementing democratic structures that encourage ordinary British people to take back control of their own country and their own lives.

Unlike many politicians, who've led a detached life in politics and law, I've worked for a living, and I've listened to people. I've listened from the boardroom to the shop floor, from the office to the construction site, from the hospital ward to the school yard, from the unemployment office to the police beat, from the public servant to the family. And I'm still listening. The policies and principles we've published on our web-site are the result of that listening. UKpopdems is a party made for the people and my goal is simply to make Britain and all law abiding British people better off, both financially and socially.
