Below are the key policy areas 15 to 21 of 21 that UKpopdems will address in the first term of office. At the end are shown the key elements of how the party's government programme will be funded.

UKpopdems believe in real democracy where ordinary Britons have more power. This means that, with a UKpopdems government, your voice on policy will be listened to.

15. Litigation:

Curtail the burgeoning and destructive litigation culture by redefining fault, limiting consequential damages and protecting those who are organising events.

  • The definition of fault limited to direct human action
  • Self-insurance promoted to cover passive losses
  • Consequential and future damages limited to provable loss and need
  • Children of a young age still protected by the adults assigned to manage events

16. Europe:

Hold an early and binding popular vote on EU membership. Depending on the result, either exit the EU or radically change it from within. Ensure Britain achieves maximum benefit from either option

  • Popular vote on EU held within six months of gaining office
  • Britain's European and international interests secured during an exit process
  • If remaining in, no new EU laws are implemented unless the British people have had their say and agree

17. Poverty and aid:

Alleviate the plight of the poor, starving, fearful and oppressed in the world by investing and taking action directly where it will make the most difference.

  • Permanent multi-agency emergency reaction force implemented
  • Aid received directly by the people who need it instead of foreign governments
  • Asylum seekers and refugees welcomed in camps where individuals and families are properly protected

18. Social Services:

Increase front-line services and reduce bureaucracy so that people who really need help can get it.

  • 50,000 more front-line professionals working in multi-disciplined, front-line community teams
  • Community feedback ensuring earlier detection of need, better quality of support and more positive outcomes
  • Material support gradually replaces cash benefits

19. Local Government and Regions:

Strengthen Parish and Community councils, or their equivalent, as the main local democratic bodies, and create five English Regional Assemblies.

  • Parish and Community Councils are the new centres of democracy
  • Existing tier of local councils abolished and resources redirected to support communities
  • English regions created - Northumbria, Mercia, Anglia, Wessex and London
  • Council Tax abolished if people vote to reduce taxation

20. The Monarchy and honours:

Bring the Monarch closer to the people and strengthen its independent role in preventing the abuse of power.

  • Bring in a new independent and open honours system that recognises great achievement and selfless service.
  • New and independent 'Queen's Medal' and 'Queen's Award' recognise great achievement, bravery and selfless service
  • Pupils taught about Britain's Monarch, parliament and democracy
  • Public representation is part of a reformed Privy Council advising the Monarch
  • The Monarch involved in new roles requiring independent review

21. Programme Funding:

Taxes not rising in real terms (except VHET). Fiscal position running positive by end of first term.

  • Very High Earners Tax (VHET) only new tax to help the very poorest and disadvantaged.
  • Releasing 2,000,000 bureaucrats, administrators and managers saves approximately £100billion annually
  • VHET, 'sure health', 'safe pension' and other tax measures save approximately £10billion, neutralised by 'right to work'
  • New front-line resources cost approx £40billion annually
  • Capital programmes for new hospitals, prisons, defence equipment, new roads and refugee camps cost approximately £30billion annually
  • Contingency £30billion
